Mentorship, sponsorship, and career development
The mission of the Gender Finance Task Force working group on Mentoring, Sponsorship and Career Development is to increase transparency and to promote the availability and provision of career development opportunities for aspiring females and assist financial services organisations in order to facilitate levelling of the playing field for gender representation throughout the management hierarchy within their organisations.
The group will work with market participants and prepare best practice guidance on policies and procedures for firms on how they can further the development of female careers within their organisations.
The working group has produced the following documents:
Public Networks and Mentorship Programs for Women
Mentorship - Definitions
Hiring Best Practices Checklist
Working group output can be found here.
We welcome any feedback or suggestions to expand research and explore new ways to reduce gender imbalances in corporate career progression.
